Our latest Kiwicakes ad

My skills are limited to cake making (and jewellery making in a  former life) I cannot create print material to save myself - seriously I cannot even show you my attempts. Thankfully as a young woman I had the foresight to fall in love with and marry an art student.  That art student grew in to a highly talented man, who just made me this. It's for an upcoming magazine issue. Simple but effective!.

Her Magazine bloom awards coverage

I was looking forward to receiving my latest copy of Her magazine, to read all about the coverage of the bloom awards (for which I was a finalist for best use of technology). The magazine gave some wonderful coverage to the 2 day conference, as well as the awards. As a finalist, I received a lovely glossy 1/2 page ad.

However I was floored as I was flicking through to find I'd made the websites to watch column,as I did not know I was going to be featured there. I think the Kiwicakes website looks mighty fine in print.

I'm really happy with how my new print ad appears for the latest issue of the NZCDG magazine. Special thanks goes to my talented husband, without whom I would only have mediocre ads, instead of the lovely ads he creates for me.

Kiwicakes made Saturday's newspaper!

The Kiwicakes blog and the advent calendar made it to the Saturday edition of the Advocate newspaper here in Northland. As with any newspaper article, I managed to be misquoted - but never mind, at least the photographer didn't give me a double chin.

WOWEE our new Rainbow dust advertisement

Well as you all know Kiwicakes is the NZ distributor for Rainbow dust products (non toxic glitter, edible lustres, edible glitter shapes & matte dusting powders). Kiwicakes in the news

Here's a lovely article from the "Savvy" magazine where my passion for Kiwiana was highlighted. When I first started Kiwicakes, I was amazed at the lack of New Zealand themed products on the market. My solution, to get it made myself!. Unfortunately my scanner bed is only a4, so I've had to load it in two parts - I just love what the magazine did with the photos. I made the cupcakes myself for the photo shoot. This article appeared in 2007.
